Standard Booking Terms & Conditions

1. General Booking Policy

• All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of proof of payment.
• Rates are quoted based on a minimum of 2 persons per tour or transfer.
• All transfer rates are quoted on a one-way basis, unless specifically stated otherwise.
• Rates may be subject to change without prior notice. However, rates for confirmed bookings will be honoured.
• All tours and transfers (excluding open vehicle safaris) are conducted in air-conditioned vehicles, unless stated otherwise.
• Bottled mineral water is provided on all tours and transfers.
• All rates include entrance fees unless otherwise stated.
• Meals and beverages are excluded from rates unless otherwise specified.

2. Quotation & Accommodation Policy

• Quotations that include accommodation are strictly subject to availability at the time of written confirmation.
• Where a listed accommodation is unavailable, Mangovo Safaris will endeavour to suggest a suitable alternative of a similar standard.

3. Payment Policy

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
• The balance is payable no later than 14 days prior to the start of the tour or transfer.
• For bookings made within 14 days of travel, full payment is required to confirm.
• All payments must be made in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
• The following cancellation fees will apply:

  • 30+ days prior to the tour: Full refund less a 10% admin fee.

  • 15–29 days prior: 50% of total cost will be forfeited.

  • 0–14 days prior or no-show: 100% cancellation fee applies.

• Refunds may take up to 10 working days to process.
• Where third-party services (e.g., accommodation or park permits) are involved, their individual cancellation policies may apply in addition to ours.

5. Safari & Tour Conditions

• Children over 4 years are welcome on open vehicle safaris. Families with children under 4 years are advised to book private safaris (terms & conditions will apply).
• An identity document or passport is required for entry to the Kruger National Park – guests without ID may be denied access.
• All guests must comply with park rules and safety guidelines, which will be explained by the guide before entry.

6. Liability

• Mangovo Safaris and its agents act only in the capacity of agents for guests in all matters relating to transport, accommodation, activities, and tours.
• We shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from any cause and in any manner whatsoever.
• Guests participate in all activities at their own risk and are required to sign an indemnity form prior to the start of any tour or transfer.

7. Travel Insurance

• Guests are strongly advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, and baggage loss. .
